I am pleased to inform you that we have recently published a new chapter on Capacity building in Serbia for Disaster and Climate Risk Education. This chapter is part of our ongoing efforts to promote disaster and climate risk education in the country.
The chapter provides an overview of the current state of disaster and climate risk education in Serbia, as well as the challenges and opportunities for improving it. It also presents a number of recommendations for how to strengthen disaster and climate risk education in the country.
We believe that this chapter will be a valuable resource for policymakers, educators, and other stakeholders who are interested in promoting disaster and climate risk education in Serbia.
This pioneering work explores the essential field of disaster and climate risk education (DCRE), providing a comprehensive framework to bridge the gap between knowledge and action. Our book highlights the necessity for prompt, proactive measures to enhance resilience and sustainability, addressing the devastating consequences of disasters caused by natural hazards and the ongoing challenges posed by climate change. By integrating global case studies, research findings, and practical policy recommendations, we aim to establish a foundation for a future society that is better equipped to face emerging risks.
