Leadership Workshop organized by COST Academy

I’m pleased to share that I successfully completed the Leadership Workshop organized by COST Academy, held on 16 May 2025 at the COST Association headquarters in Brussels.

This workshop gathered researchers from across Europe with the aim of strengthening leadership capacities in the context of COST Actions and fostering international scientific cooperation.

The program was both intense and inspiring – starting with an insightful introduction to COST by Dr Ronald de Bruin (Director of COST Association), followed by a panel of experienced leaders including Dr Jitka Cejkova, Ms Ghazal Etminan, and Dr Indrek Heinla, and culminating in engaging individual and group leadership exercises focused on practical challenges and peer learning.

As a participant in COST Action CA23126 – AlertHub: Warning Communication Knowledge Network, which focuses on crisis communication and early warning systems, the workshop offered timely knowledge and valuable tools to support my contributions within the network and beyond.

COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is a vital framework that supports researchers across Europe and beyond to collaborate across disciplines, institutions, and borders—especially at the early and most innovative phases of research development.

Grateful to the COST Academy team for a perfectly organized and empowering experience that strengthens science leadership across Europe.
