In addition, the characteristics and extent of its role depend on many factors such as the type, volume, intensity, phase and consequences of natural disasters, the level of training of police officers, the existence of plans and resources for the conduct of the police in such situations, and so on. However, the role of police in natural disasters is a very scarce literature, and in some way can easily conclude that this role and importance in that situation and marginalized. That is why the author has analyzed the tasks and organization of the police in different phases of a natural disaster. In a comprehensive manner presents the theoretical model of the response to natural disasters by the police, describing the priorities of residents affected communities in order to identify the optimal strategy of the police response in each phase of a disaster. As a result of the research, the paper sets out clear guidelines and recommendations for improving policing in natural disasters.
