For these reasons, research was conducted with the aim of the scientific explanation of the factors affecting the possession of the first aid disaster kit for a family. Using face-to-face interviews, two thousand and five hundred respondents in nineteen local communities were interviewed. The results of the conducted research show that more than half of the respondents do not possess the first aid kit in the household, their vehicle and that it is not kept in an easily accessible place.
